Meet Our Special Delivery From Colorado...
Miss Maggie May

She's just the cutest...We picked her up from the airport this afternoon and she was a very happy girl to get out of her crate. She came special delivery to us from Gary's brother's family in Parker, CO.

Our little 5 month old puppy bounced into our lives and right away met everybody else in and around our house. First stop, across the street to met Victoria, then Bryan. Next stop, the backyard. She had to stop at the fish pond to take a drink, check out the fish and take a quick dip. She and our other dog Brewster have no problems getting along. While Maggie and Brewster were playing the the backyard, Tweezer watched from the window giving me that look...."What the h#$$ not another dog!!! Don't you know this is cat terrority?" After several hours, Maggie finally meet Tweezer face to face. Tweezer explained to Maggie how it was and now Maggie won't venture by the cat.

Here's Evan check out the conditions of Maggie's crate. I just think it's something that all boys like to do.

A tired girl from all of the day's activities.

One more pic of Evan and Maggie.

Thanks, Greg, Julia, Delaney, Cassie & Jack!!!

I bet that Delaney & Cassie picked out Maggie's pretty pink rhinestone collar. Maggie's going to miss you guys because we sure do!!!

NEWSFLASH!!!

Local Cub Scouts Escape From Alcatraz...

Evan's Cub Scout pack took a day trip to Alcatraz island on Sunday. We caught a ferry in Vallejo and took a lesuirely ride into San Francisco. The ferry was fun. I don't think that too many of the boys had been on it before. I hadn't. The weather was nice...not to hot, not to cold.

The prison is a little spooky. The audio tour that the park offers is outstanding. The narrators are former guards or prisoners.

After the returning from the prison, we stop and had a yummy sourdough bowl of clam chowder. Evan enjoyed feed the pigeons the leftover bread.

Soccer 2006
Evan had his first soccer game of the season on Saturday. He's moved up an age group and his playing for a different coach after playing for Coach Ed for the last two years. Wow...U12 is big change from U10. It's a bigger field, more players on the field at one time and a lot more action. His team the Hurricanes defeated the Woodland Maddogs 4-3. It was very excited game to watch.
That's Evan #24.
